We recently had ONE more resident and ONE more staff test positive for COVID -19. This is in addition to the information listed below
During our weekly testing, we have had 1 resident test positive for COVID-19. We have activated our COVID-19 unit with designated staff for that area. No other staff or residents will have contact with any person in the COVID-19 unit. Staff are equipped with specific training and Protective equipment to continue to provide safe and quality care for the residents in our community.
We will repeat staff & resident testing on 11/24/2020 and every 3-7 days until we see no more positive cases.
We want to keep you as current as possible with what is happening at Cornerstone Villa.
We are taking every effort to prevent the spread of COVID 19 and to keep everyone safe and healthy.
We have restricted all visitation at this time. We are communicating with the Minnesota Department of Health. We hi member who has any signs or symptoms of COVID 19 will be excluded from work and be tested. Any resident that displays any signs or symptoms will also be tested.
During testing we will send out a letter each time a test is completed on your loved one. If the results are negative, you will be contact by mail. If your loved one has a positive result, we will contact you by phone.
If we were to have a resident test positive at anytime, we will immediately move them to our COVID unit away from the rest of the residents.

With the county positivity rate above 10% we will adhere to MNDOH guidelines and have suspended all visits.
We will continue to utilize technology for means of communication with your loved ones.
